Hi Crystal Expert;
I am using Crystal Reports 2008 version 12.3.0.601 (product Type : Full). My operating system is Windows 7
Now I have a question for summary (PaymentAmount for a group level)
1. it is a sub report.
2. The query for this subreport generates two rows with many columns including Payment Amount column.
3. among those two rows, the values only different in the column -'Fee Description'.
4. The payment Amount is $125 in both rows, but it is actually one payment for that total of two fees.
5. There are 5 groups in this sub report based on our client's requirements.
Group 1 - 1
Group 2 - 2
Group 3 - Folder level
Group 4 -Payee level
Group 5 - PaymentAmount level
Detail - Fee Descriptions
6. put Payment Amount field on group 5 level, I got right amount $125.
7. put a summary field for Payment Amount ( which is on group 5 level) on group level 3.
8. we assume that Crystal will Sum(Payment Amount) value in group 5 (which is $125) and get me $125
9. Problem: Crystal gave $250 for the summary field, instead of $125
Can you let me know what I did wrong? Why Crystal does not add all values in Group 5 and put it on group 3 ?
