Hi Aditya,
Your using the depreciation key which is based on use ful life. As per key it will depreciate for remaining years i.e. 3 years and not on 4 months. If you want depreciate in 4 months, then you have to post unplanned depreciation for the same or change the use ful life for the asset accordingly.
