Hi ,
It is always advisable to bring stickers or label in BOM although it is low value item for below reasons.
- First of all although its pre piece rate is low procurement happens in roll of 10000 pc or in multiples.
- Secondly these low value items procurement value become significant for min qty requirement given by vendor.
- Consumption of stickers is also have impact due to wrong prints of, wrong printer settings, misplace happening in various departments etc which should be controlled.
There is a practical difficulty in issue the material i.e requirement is pcs & issue happens in rolls.
To overcome this better approach is will be as below.
Procure material (valued or none valuated) with VB MRP type with fixed lot size.
Make stock transfer of rolls to Production location this will tiger Purchase requisition well in time.
